A vase is one of the oldest objects in human culture. Kinetic Vases asks what happens when you strip the vase back to pure geometry and then push the geometry until it moves — visually, rhythmically, with the kind of energy that makes you look twice.
These are objects that exist at the border between functional design and pure sculpture. They hold flowers — and water: the vases are watertight. They also hold their own as standalone art pieces. The forms suggest motion even in stillness — hence the name.
